Job Details Level : Management Job Location : Boca Raton, FL Position Type : Full Time Salary Range : Undisclosed Description Summary: This position isresponsible for developing and executing both internal and external communication strategies for the Club overseeing the creation and distribution of messaging across various channels like websites, press releases, LinkedIn, and internal newsletters, while ensuring consistency with the brand image and promoting the company's mission and culture. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following; Develop comprehensive communication plans aligned with company goals, including identifying target audiences and key messaging. Write and edit various communication materials such as press releases, blog posts, website copy, company newsletters, social media content, marketing materials, and member communication. Foster and manage relationships with media outlets, pitch stories, and respond to press inquiries. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels and uphold brand guidelines. Facilitate effective communication within the organization through employee newsletters, and internal platforms. Develop and implement crisis communication plans in case of emergencies or negative publicity. Oversee the company's social media presence, including content creation or proofing, engagement, and monitoring. Writes General Manager’s and Director’s letters going to the membership. Composes, generates, and distributes outgoing club-wide communications. Exhibits and maintains a professional demeanor to reflect a positive image of The Polo Club. Manage and mentor a team of communication professionals, including writers, designers, and social media specialists. Ability to learn Northstar platform and website editing. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have strong writing, proofing, editing and communication skills. Strong understanding of digital communication platforms and social media. Media relations experience. Strategic thinking and planning abilities Project management skills Experience with graphic design of promotional materials, flyers, brochures, etc. Basic design skills and familiarity with the Adobe Suite of design programs. Requires exceptional follow-through skills. Must have the ability to remain focused under pressure and deadlines. Must be able to manage incoming information from multiple sources and organize it in a fashion that is easily consumable by the membership. Requires excellent organizational and time-budgeting skills. Ability to analyze data and prepare reports. Ability to verbally communicate in English and in writing. Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in English. Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers and members. Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job does not have supervisory responsibilities. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Must have experience with web maintenance software.
