Full Job Description

Elemental Care - Health & Wellness Center is located in Crest Hill. Our office is adjacent to the Menards retail location and directly behind the Firestone Auto Repair Center. We are currently looking to employ a Front Desk Medical Office Receptionist who has experience working with our EMR (Electronic Medical Record) System, Elation & Practice Fusion.

Requirements

• 1 Year of Experience as a Receptionist
• Self-directed team player
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• A positive and Direct customer service attitude is imperative
• Reliable Transportation to work.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, vendors, pharmaceutical representatives, and other visitors to our medical office
• Scanning pertinent patient information into EMR, including patient authorizations, recent labs delivered by patients
• Issue specimen collection containers to patients as needed
• Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary
• Preparing superbills
• Answer phone calls
• Call patients to schedule through our medical office software new and follow-up appointments.

Qualifications (1+ years of experience working as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role)

• Friendly and compassionate disposition
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT billing codes is a plus
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Dedication to maintaining the confidentiality of all patient records

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 8 1/2 - hour shift
• Wednesday: 12 1/2 - hour shift
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Off

*Outside of regular business hours, we may have mandatory meetings
